Mayfest Arts Fair

The 2008 Mayfest Arts Fair returns for its 14th year with the best show yet!

Nearly 100 artists will be exhibiting and selling works of art and craft, and selected artists will be holding demonstrations and workshops in the new Demonstrator's Village. As always, on hand will be great on-stage entertainment, strolling entertainers, and children's activities including pony rides, a petting zoo and an astro jump. Also available will be free crafts and activities for both children and adults.

Featured performers again this year are the Squash Beetle Morris Dancers, with their traditional English Morris Dance and audience participation Maypole dance, twice each day! Also included in the entertainment schedule is the Lexington Children's Theatre with their full-length play, Pecos Bill & Sluefoot Sue, The Swells and the Rakadu Gypsy Dancers from Mecca Dance.
